Meet Dr. Jaime Ann Johnston – Founder of KIN Essentials

Dr. Johnston earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2017, followed by advanced training in Non-Sterile Compounding (PCCA) at the University of North Texas in 2023. She is also certified in immunizations and brings extensive experience across retail, independent compounding, and hospital pharmacy.

With a strong foundation in science and a passion for natural formulations, she launched KIN Essentials in December 2018—a brand dedicated to high-quality, all-natural haircare and cosmetics. After 7 years in retail pharmacy, Dr. Johnston has returned to her first love—compounding—where she formulates innovative products while mentoring future pharmacists as a TX board-certified preceptor.
